Bison 6th National Championship

Chris and Jason drove Luke and Tee and Wyatt to the national championship game in Frisco Texas.

They took in an NBA basketball game:
Dallas Mavericks versus Chicago Bulls.

Chris said he took this picture for me because he knew I'd love it.  The non-adult boys headed down early for
continental breakfast before tailgating.
They were chatting non-stop with pre-game excitement!

Tailgaters of the game; a "work" task that
Chris has to do each Bison game.

Hangin' in the Bison 1660 bus.

Not surprising. A 10 year-old Buckhouse kid
is taller than an adult Heitkamp.
Soaking in the sun, watching the game.

Celebrating the 6th National Championship.
These two big babies both cried.

Bison 1660 post-game show.

After Frisco, Luke had the pinewood derby for scouts.  Chris finally made a car that made the finals!  Luke painted it.  Let's hope it's a lucky car for the playoffs!

Christmas pre-Frisco.
Eva asking Santa for an iHome.
Travis asking Santa for his phone paid off (he owed Chris $100) or some nintendo thing.

Eva: iHome.  Travis: hamburger socks and
Santa paid Chris for the phone

Luke asking for a drone

Santa brought a trip to Frisco and Bison game tickets instead!

Marie asking for a desk.
A desk and a puppy calendar!?!?!
What could be more 8 year old girl!?!?!?

Erika made some egg nog.

Chris made a Clinton Hanson favorite: popovers.

Then we headed to Hankinson for Christmas with the Buckhouses.
Tree recreated the Granite City breakfast buffet. Sausage and biscuits and gravy, caramel rolls, eggs, cheesey potatoes, ham and sausage.  Not pictured on this plate: crepes with fresh whipped cream and many kinds of fruit.  She nailed it.  EVERYTHING made from scratch.  It was better than Granite City.

Gift opening.

Quiet enough for Chris to nap and get wrapped.

Eva drew Joseph's name and got him this remote control truck.  Adorable.

Santa may have brought Travis socks and a boring gift...

...but grandma Tree found him that old nintendo he wanted.
And she got Luke the drone.

And we had some fun Christmas games.
Including Family Feud with Steve-Harvey look-a-like hosts.

And a fun game of "as seen on TV"
gift exchange with the Althoff clan.

Christmas break was COLD.
Luna's only exercise came while I was safe
 and warm in my vehicle.

Travis' last year of legomania at the Fargo public library was a sweeping success.  He took home first place and the people's choice award.  He is legendary to the lego kids.

This is what he built!!!!
