Brazilian Blowout/ Storm

Here is our trampoline after the storm. You can also see what it did to our shed, and our poor, new little tree.

OK, so these are crappy, uncropped, unfixed pictures, but you get the idea. I had a Brazilian Blowout done by Tammi G/T at InBloom. Above- my hair wash and air dried before.....

My hair washed and air dried, and after a bike ride outside in high humidity.

Above- the back before- air dried.

The back- after- air dried. I still have a few waves. But, NO poof. My hair is not puffy at the moment...and it didn't take me 40 minutes to get it that way.

I was very happy to see one of the last baby toys go to Halle Buckhouse. Marie got one more good bounce out of it for you Halle!

Marie likes to dress herself, even if both legs go through one opening. Not that I'm much better at hair, but she did her own hair as well.

No, I didn't learn how to take good photos. Luckily, I have a neighbor girl, Allison, who is great at it! She took these pics of the kids.

Marie 20 months.

Lego-maniacs

I realized that other little lego-maniacs probably would like to look at things Travis has built. I will just keep adding to this post as he builds!

He got this "Road Rescue Dodge" (953 pieces) from Grandma Tree and Grandpa Gerry for his birthday. Took about 6 hours for him to put it together. I hope Luke likes Legos and will get out of my hair for 6 hours?

He got this Toy Story lego set from Uncle Adam and Auntie Sheena.

Travis 6th birthday

I don't often do pictures of cakes without a kid...but look at how awesome this is? The cake was $30, the lego candles $15!!!!! No, I did not make this...obvious to anyone that is aware of my cake decorating skills.
Travis in lego heaven. We had a girl scouts thing going on, so the party wasn't until 4pm. Otherwise, I like to have parties in the morning so I don't have to hear about it all day long. For example, the cake was delivered at 10am and Luke said for the next 6 hours "Mom, I'm reawwy hungwy. Hungwy foe Wego cake."

It was so nice and hot out that I told the kids they could take their shirts off if they were too hot. It was a "red neck" birthday party.

So red-neck that we didn't even bother to get out chairs for the kids. We just let them run around and stand at the table to eat.

Watch cute, little Marie....watching the cake so sweetly. Not touching it, not grabbing anything...

Until I turned my back!

Chris, (yes Chris Hanson that I'm married to) he says "I've never actually wanted to eat one of my children. But, I could just eat Marie up she's that cute and sweet." Agreed.

The Easter bunny brought her this stroller to push babies in. In case she wasn't cute enough.

And, not only does she have Chris and I wrapped around her finger, Marie's also got the older kids smitten. You've seen pictures of Luke's cars that he creates at the bottom of the stairs. This time he's reading books to Marie while they travel. Hopefully he's not driving?

Eva reading her books. Travis says he wants us to have more babies because they are just so cute! He asks quite often actually? He must have forgotten the part with me eating and puking that it takes to get these cute things?
