She's sportin' the Hannah Montana backpack that she picked out. She loved kindergarten and had a great time... eventhough we were LATE on the first day. I didn't know about the traffic jams that would occur on the first day. It took us 25 minutes to get there on Thursday (first day), today it took me 5 minutes. I was also there 30 minutes early today (Friday) because I was so horrified about being late. Eva's dad escorted her and Travis in the Bob Hummer to the first day of school and I followed behind with Lukey.

I thought that I might make it through the drop-off OK because I was just so pissed and overwhelmed by being late. But, then it was time to give her a hug and leave and I started crying and crying. Her teacher said "Ohhhhh, I'll take good care of her, I promise." How sweet is that? Then I walk out the door and Chris hands me the phone and I'm live on the air and crying. Nice. I guess I was holding this cute baby who was eating my keys the entire time? I don't even remember holding him? 
Then after school, as I'm just feeling like such an idiot and so out of place because I've never done any of this before... we see Eva's friend, Emma Critelli, and her brother waiting for a ride. Eva and Emma will be carpooling this year, but Emma is in first grade. Anyways, we see Emmaand she's wearing the same first day of school outfit! Tennis shoes with anklets, leggings, a dress and pigtails. Too cute!
