Nolan got married!

Beautiful church on a beautiful day...out in the fields.

Nolan's new family:  Tracey and Ellisyn

Marie in heaven while getting her hair done.

Flower girls Halle and Marie.  This might be the only time I've ever seen Halle NOT smiling?  I think I was in a hurry with this photo...

Oh, the incredible sulk.  I have seen this face a lot less often as of late after getting into some trouble with this "sulk."  This particular sulk was due to being covered in dress poof.  Hee, hee.

Travis redeems himself by shining the
 groomsmen and usher's shoes.

Thank you to Lisa Narum for taking the family photo and the one of Chris and I.  It was the first time I had ever wore fake eyelashes!

I mean look at these dresses!?!?!?!   The two brunette flower girls are Tracey's sister's girls.  And then Halle and Eleanor (not pictured) are Adam's kids.  This was one of Marie's favorite photos where they were the "minions."  Tracey and Nolan sure were nice to include all these little ones.
The minions taking orders:  Hold up your flowers!

Or your sandwich!

Party bus.  My favorite part of the night.

Full crew.

Dancin' the night away with Uncle Nolan.

Ellisyn doing a dab.

Poor Tracey couldn't get away from the minions!
Lisa Narum convinced her son to ask Marie to dance.  His little sister was NOT happy with this, but Marie and him appeared to be having a romantic night.
She asked him "do you want to eat pizza with me?"
Who does that?!?!? #maneater  The girl's got game.

Adam and Sheena's family

Grandma Lois came to the wedding.
These two looked normal during the wedding.  And then the rest of the night they looked like this.  Ninja wedding.

And then my clever friend Aimee Mitchell made this!  Ha!
We spent the 3rd of July with the Althoffs at Lavonne's lake place. Marie, Eva, Ellisyn, Halle

And we attended the Hankinson July 4th parade.  That is Ben Althoff's little one, Gavan, on my lap.

We had to spread out for candy-retrieval.

The one time he listened all day.
Someone told him to go make a bed by the lake.

Speaking of Althoffs, here are some of my super Althoff-cousins.  Elizabeth and her boyfriend Clint.

Ben and his wife, Abby, and Gavan.

Above, my Godson Alex and Gavan.
My cousin Abbie and her boyfriend Austin.

Sheena and I threw a Buckhouse shower for Tracey on my patio, along with help from Althoff auntcousins: Linda, Tammi and Rose.  Clearly, the adorable decorations were done by Sheena and not myself.

Baseball.  My favorite part is how cute they look in their uniforms.
Had a fun parents-only weekend with Sue and Chuck at Moondance Country Jam.
These long arms?  I am my own selfie-stick!
Eva and Travis went to Canada with Grandma Lois to visit some cousins.  Marie and Luke played in Eva's room often while she was gone . Luke said "it's like being in a hotel in this room."  A whole new world they never get to see, right in our house!

Marie had her dance recital end of May.

Oh you kindergarten teachers and your magical power...Marie went to Tammy T to get her hair done and requested "straight hair with a side swoop, just like Mrs. Carlsrud."
Marie hit the neighbor jackpot when these two girls moved in next door.  Here, they are performing their vacation Bible school songs.
Marie and Norah even have the same flip-flops!

Chris got together with Bill and Chuck for a golfing weekend...

...while I headed to the cities to hang with Sue and the kids.  We see the Evens so infrequently?????
The Crayola experience was will worth the time/ money.  Travis says it was one of the best days ever!
We headed to Valleyfair on a nice un-crowded Monday.  Marie and Luke are not adventurous with their rides.  Not sure why Luke isn't?  He went on bigger rides when he was 3 and 4?  Example: This is Marie's (2nd) favorite ride that she went on nearly 10x.  It just moves up and around.
Since they weren't busy riding rollercoasters,
they took in a Charlie Brown show.
Hansons and Eva's friend, Olivia.  I think she was super glad to return to her one brother....
Oh Luke's favorite kind of anything involves getting soaked and watching other people get soaked.

This is pretty much how crowded the entire park was.  I was so impressed that they kept 90% of the rides/food open when it was this slow.  I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice and clean the grounds were and the staff was very polite and helpful.
Oh this kid.  After losing him for 30 minutes due to a miscommunication about restroom location, he did the following while waiting in line for this eagle ride:

The two people waiting with Luke for this ride went in and I couldn't figure out why Luke wasn't going in?  Had he decided that a ride with birds that go around in a slightly high circle was too frightening?  Nope.  He wasn't going in because his knee was stuck in that blue fence directly behind him.  Operator came to help him.  I came to help, but couldn't stop laughing.  He was there for a couple minutes and the operator was ready to call security, but I wedged it out.  On the bright side, I can't lose him when he's stuck in a fence!

The 3 big kids who rode each rollercoaster at least 5x are quite tired.  Only Olivia ended the day with a smile on her face!

And this is what Eva's hair looked like
when she took out the braids.

Oh the phenomenon!  Pokemon Go!  Andrew Evens came to our house for a few days and they got in quite a bit of searching.

I like bike rides.  Not such a fan of games.  But I rode along.

"Mom, look what I found trying to eat my bike!
A nidoran!"  -Travis.

A pokemon stop.
