So, as you can see I haven't updated this for awhile. Been a little busy being sick as a dog. No new changes really in the baby category. I still have complete placenta previa and so I still have all the fun bleeding that goes along with that (sorry guys) and still all the worrisome, bad risks that go with that. Although (KNOCK ON WOOD), I must admit that the nausea appears to have gotten a little better. I am very, very , very hungry and can eat more than noodles. Not much, but I'm slowly expanding my food choices to include things that have nutrients. I actually walk around the house instead of just lay on the floor for at least the majority of my day. I only have to take 1 puke-pill a day, and those are almost history as I have to quit at 20 weeks and I'm 17. I actually smile sometimes now too!

Ahhhh Lukey. Chris calles him "Hitler." I just think he's 1 1/2. Little story from Luke about his life....

"I wouldn't be so naughty is there wasn't all this stuff that the big kids are doing like playing computer and such that I should be getting. I really got into all this stuff we had brought upstairs for the flood."
"Ha. Got in the bathroom and stole a toothbrush. Dipped it in the toilet first. Daddy lost me one day while mommy was at her second home: the drive-thru. He looked and looked and I had got in here in the dark and shut the door and threw all the toothbrushes and washcloths and towels in the toilet. He even opened and closed the door once and couldn't see me because it was dark! Then I got mommy too by spreading Eucerin cream all over myself and the carpet and the remotes."
"Hmmmmm. I must sit and rest and plan my next escape to neighbor's garages. Too bad I don't know how to walk. Check out my dirty knees!"

"Haircut and driving like a big kid."

"Pre-haircut, but looking cute on Easter. Daddy didn't see much of church but I showed everyone how great I am at saying 'bye-bye.'"

"Nobody lets me do anything. Travis and the boys at daycare start chanting 'no lukey, no' when they see me coming. I wanted to bang a sharp, metal picture frame on the piano keys very badly...."

"...and then I wanted to play memory with mommy and Travis..."

"...but, nobody lets me. So, I'll just lay on the floor and mess up the rug and kick and scream and throw the extra cards all over."

"I was giving Toni a drink our of this cup. Mostly I just try to sit on her over and over again."
-Luke

Our friend, Aimee Mitchell, turned 30 and had a great party. I even stayed out until 10pm!!!!! Anyways, someone gave her a gag gift of prunes and she sent them home with Chris because our kids eat them. See, I wasn't lying!

The prunes were probably one of the first healthy things I had fed them for the past 2 months. Cereal for dinner is one of their "pregnancy favorites." Hey, there is at least a banana in there.

We do have the house pretty much put back together.... when I say "we", I mean my neighbor, Gerry, my husband, and my mom and dad since I am not allowed to lift anything. Our basement remained dry. Thanks Fargo! This was our FEMA shelter as Chris called it. It was mostly exciting to jump on the beds on the floor. (Look how sweetly Eva is reading her brother a book.)

Eva did squeeze in a 6th birthday party between my few weeks of bedrest and the flood. I spent the party mostly lying on the couch and eating oatmeal and cream of wheat and not being particulary pleasant. I just let them destroy the place. They seemed to have fun!

The kids dancing... but the funniest thing about this picture is Travis "dancing." In the background with his thumbs up.

Eva's Hannah Montana decor and the CD's she made for her birthday treats and her new outfit from grandma.

Luke doing his part to destroy the party. Travis says that Luke is "a wrecker, a button pusher and a shover."

The sidewalk after the March 10th blizzard. No wonder we had a flood!

Chris rescuing us during the blizzard shoveling away the snow from the exhaust when the furnace wouldn't work.

Two videos. Luke just being cute. Travis singing a very popular country song... if you can hear it through Luke's whining day.
