Luke at 2 mos

Luke is 2 mos old now. Eyes are still blue!!!! Although, he's looking more
and more like the baby "Chris clones" everyday. A lady at church asked if I cut his hair like that? No. Then she saw Travis and said "your boys sure can grow hair!" That's why we call Travis "carpet head." Luke is so easy, it's ridiculous.
I feel like I should have another one just because it's so easy now. I need to remember that
key word...NOW.

Poor Uncle Nolan is very, very sick. He had an ACL reconstruction and got a very bad infection. Poor Uncle Nolan, seen here doing his favorite job in the whole world of babysitting his neice and nephew.

We love Lukey-Dukey so much that we all want to take a tubby with him! This was a tight fit. Even Travis now loves to play with "Wukey." He likes to spike his hair to look like "Wukey" and it's a fight of who gets to sit by him in the car and shake the ducky toy for him.

Many people think Luke looks like the other kids, so I thought I'd add pictures. Obviously, he definitely has Travis' hair, but I don't think that anyone on earth has eyeballs that big. Tough to compare with Travis' mouth/nose.

travis singing

This is Travis singing days of the week and the months of the year that he learned at his daycare, Sheila's. The months are just the cutest!

baptism

Mom, I just can't handle this bouncing....it makes me so sleepy!
Luke so excited to be getting baptized.

Luke's Godparents: Sheena Greenwald (Adam's fiance), and Chuck and Sue Evens.

The Hanson cousins. Cody and Jed are Scott's boys, the bigger ones. Cody looks like he is holding a fish. Jack is Mardi's boy. Travis sticking out his tongue....who's kid is that? You will notice that Eva is the only girl. Mardi asked Jack when we were pregnant if he thought it'd be a boy or a girl baby. He replied "I think it will be a boy and then Eva will still be the princess." How cute is that?

Our family and me making a horrible looking face.

That outfit is why we baptized him right away.... we couldn't let him realize how ridiculous he looks.

Luke, that is what I think your brother and sister too sometimes.

Baby love.......

Sorry Chris, I think this kid has some Buckhouse in him!

LUKE GERARD HANSON is here!!!!! And as an added bonus.... I'm not pregnant anymore!!!!!!!!

Eva loves her baby brother and "can hold him all by herself without anyone helping." Travis...well I laid Luke on his bed last night so that I could give Travis a kiss and he said "TAKE THE BABY OUT." Doesn't really get what is so great about him.

You just really don't get any goofier than Travis. He is so silly!

The kids got a "band" from Grandma Tree, along with 100 other things. This is Eva being a one-gal show.

The larger band.

Mommy and Daddy always cry when the baby arrives.

It's scary how much these two look like twins, isn't it? I must say, Luke at this moment at least has a shot at not looking like a Chris-clone as Travis does and as Eva did as a baby.

Eva and Travis with Santa. When Eva sat on his lap, Santa said to her "I saw you come in the door so I checked my list. You're on the nice list." Then she told him what she wanted, a toy computer. Then he asked Travis what he wanted and he told him a race track. When we got outside, Eva says to Chris in a very worried tone "Santa only said I was on the nice list, not Travis." The next day, he was whining about something and she said "Travis, you'd better stop because Santa didn't say you were on the nice list." Such a protective big sister!

The fun after trick-or-treating. All the candy he got. The bucket it still full up to the eyeballs.
This is how Chris had to push the gimpy around. He would just lift the stroller right up to the door. If you ask Travis about trick-or treating he says "I dwop my candy. I cwy." He dropped the bucket a few times and Chris had to pick it up.

I may have over bundled the princess? When she got home she said "I'm so hot!" Dad actually lasted trick-or-treating an entire hour!

Make-up and curls. I don't worry about Eva thinking girls need all that stuff at too early of an age. She seriously thinks doing your hair and putting on make-up is only for dress-up because that's really the only time she sees mom doing it.

This is Travis' mode of transportation, especially for mom who can't carry him. He has recently started walking on it though and he crawls and scoots all over. He doesn't even notice it. He was standing up on the same bed jumping with that cast the other day. At least he held on this time.

Injured Vikings. No-you Packer fans- the cast is green for the BISON.

Chris doing celebrity trick-or-treating at work. I would've never figured it out: He's senator Larry Craig, the guy that got caught in the airport bathroom sting.

Does this shirt make me look fat? Yes, that's what it says. It's my favorite. Yes, I have the token bun on my head that I always say I'll never take another picture with. Oops. And yes, I have 2 months to go.

Eva's first day of pre-school. Eva and her friend Crysta at school.

This is how a pregnant lady whom cannot stand the smell of anything cooking in the house fries her bacon:) Cooking bacon in the rain with the door shut tight and wearing clothes that I could change out of. And then I left the grease outside overnight so that it wouldn't put stink in the house either and Toni ate it all. Oops. Easy clean up though!

Vikings look-a-likes.

Travis' Owwee

Travis and his owwee foot.

Eva when she broke her leg with grandma Tree.

Deja vu. Last pregnancy with Travis, I spent the beginning months carrying around a toddler with a broken leg. However, this time I have already been ordered to do no carrying of the toddler...hmmmm? Travis was jumping on Eva's little, tiny twin bed on Saturday night just before bed and PLOP, off the end. His nose was all red and marked up, so I thought that was it. Well, he kept crying and wanted me to kiss his foot too. He just wouldn't stop crying. My brothers came over because we had all just went out to eat. I told Travis "you can lay on this bed and be sad until you're ready to come out." Well, we're in the other room and he's just SCREAMING. I'm being typical "what noise?" mom and I don't even hear it. Finally, Nolan says "Are you sure he didn't break his leg? I go in there and he had tried to get off the bed but couldn't walk. (Insert mucho, mondo, ginormous amount of guilt into mother.) He's saying he has an "owwee foot" over and over again. Well, I can't carry him, so Nolan carried him in the ER. We were there from 9-midnight!!!! He took his x-rays like a pro and said "cheese." Cute! It is just a hairline fracture of the tibia, in no way did it look as bad as Eva's did. He is only casted below the knee, she was to the thigh. He wants the "band-aid" OFF and keeps saying it doesn't hurt anymore... and then cries when he tries to move around. He is non-weightbearing, Chris is gone, Grandma had to come to carry him all over... I'm at 29 weeks, went into pre-term labor last time at 31 weeks, so I'd really like to make it past the next 3-4 weeks without carrying him and ending up in bed or with a premie. Hopefully we can get a walking boot on Wed when we go in for the hard cast. I always let them jump on that bed. It's one of those "pick your battles" things that I chose to ignore. Nolan says "who would let their 2 year old jump on a bed 3' wide?" Hmmmm. Good point. I'll choose my battles more wisely from now on.
