Travis turns 3 years old already!!!!!!!! Which means that he gets to have his first "friends" party in our house. From left, Jamie and Cayden from daycare, Eva, Travis, Colten from daycare, Brady our neighbor, and a PT friend's son, Kaden.
Chris doing a "mission" of a scavenger hunt with the kids. Although, they found the rocket that they were looking for before the game even started. Chris showed outstanding parenting skills to keep them going at the game however.
Playing the infamous "raise your hand if...." game. The problem was that the 3 year olds in the bunch, Travis, Jamie and Colten, raised their hands for every question and got the wrath of Eva on them.
Colten, Cayden and Travis. I was way more into the "little einstein" themed birthday party that Travis picked in comparison to Eva's "barbie and the island princess" birthday theme, as you can see by all the stuff I bought a month ago. You can also see the beautiful apron that says "best mom hands down" that my children made for me for Mother's day at Sheila's (daycare.) Yes, that woman had her 8 daycare children all paint their hands and make aprons. That woman is a saint!!!!!!!
See what I mean by getting into the Little Einstein theme? I borrowed a bunch of music stuff from the music teacher at Casselton to decorate with. Love it!
What do ya gotta do at a Little Einstein's birthday party? Listen to classical music and play your instruments! Above is Kaden.....
and this is our neighbor, Brady. Our house did sell.... which is yippee skippy because if I had to clean this house one more time I would go insane... but it's sad because we'll be leaving awesome neighbors. Just to make me feel even more sad about it, Brady gave Travis a truckload of presents, including a lawn mower bubble blower that Travis always plays with at Brady's house but will soon need his own. That part just stinks. Eva will be leaving a best little girl friend too. But, I am so glad that it is over with selling the house. We close on June 15th and hope to be moved in on Memorial Weekend (that will never happen, but Chris seems to think it will.........)
I cut off 10" of hair and donated it. I wanted to just go shoulder length, but I figured I'd just go as short as I could stand so I had more to donate. One of my forgetful friends asked me how I was styling it? Silly, silly, silly, forgetful friend.....style is not part of my daily language. HOWEVER if I were going to style it, which I might do once or twice, I would straighten it and it would look so pretty like it did when I left the salon. Alas, it will be stuck in a clip and frizzy and curly, just like when it was long. It's nice to not have baby barf in it though.

So, also for mothers day, Eva made this thing at school. It was a fill in the blank questionaire that her teacher helped her fill out. Statements like "my mom's favorite color is_____" and "my mom's favorite food is_______." Well, the first one was "My mom is very______"..........
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Eva said "My mom is very hungry." She said "I was going to put beautiful, but I thought hungry was better." I think I scarred her vision of me forever with all the food I ate while pregnant with Luke.
Travis' birthday party at the lake with the cake Grandma Lois made for him. Travis said the funniest Chris thing ever. Now, I would expect this out of a 5 or 6 year old, but not a three year old. He likes to stick food on his face and say "wook mom, wook" (Translation for those of you without toddlers "look mom, look") because that's just so hilarious to him. Anyways, he was sticking marshmallows on his face and says "wook mom." I say "I'm not going to look if it's stupid." He takes the marshmallows off his lips and says "It's not stupid, it's funny." I had to look twice to make sure Chris wasn't sitting there.

Travis and the green truck with motorcycles that he got from Grandpa Clint and Granma Lois.
Jack, Cody, Travis and Jed (the Hanson cousins) all at the lake playing UNO.
The kids going in to greet Lukey in the morning. They're so sweet!
You wouldn't believe how excited Eva and Travis were to have Lukey watch his first Baby Einstein video. This is the movie theater that they set up for the occasion.
