middle child syndrome

Middle Child Syndrome: Poor Travis. He is just so abused and would not smile for the Easter picture with his brother and sister.

" My mommy thinks I'm really cute and can't stop sending out pictures of me."

-Lukey

Our new house! It will look this bare and empty until we sell our other house! Yes, you may think that it's the house we have now...... they really have a similar look, nothing fancy. Just a different floor plan, it's a rambler instead of a bi-level. Pretty much are moving to get a mud room.

This is the backyard that Toni will be able to easily run away from us every time we forget about her outside. The neighbors we have now know her name and just tell her to go home. I'm sure that without the fence, people will quickly hate Toni. At least it's an open field for a few years so she won't get run over as she disappears. There is a bike path in the backyard. The city planners tell us the field is zoned for single family homes.........watch a huge walmart go up there some day, that'd be our luck.

The previous owners thought it'd be a good idea to panel a room downstairs and put up sticky tiles on the ceiling. Nice.

Chris's future "poker room" and "anything else Erika wants him to get rid of" room. The third stall is heated and seperate from the rest of the garage. Hopefully we have cool neighbors that will want to partake in garage partying. Also, hopefully we have cool neighbors because we realized today that their house is about 4 feet from ours on one side.

We have a 5 year old

Luke is almost 3 mos old. You can see his cute little dimple in the picture above. It also looks as though his hair may be coming in blonde????? His eyes are still blue so maybe????

Calli, Emma and Eva-they all went to Sheila's (daycare) together last year before the other two went to kindergarten.
We have now been parents for 5 years. Eva had a 5th birthday party on Sunday. She wanted "barbie and the island princess." Not sure why since we didn't even own a Barbie until she got some for gifts. But, she's becoming much girlier these days and into those things and dresses and stuff.

All the girls eating cupcakes at the party.

Playing musical chairs.

So, I didn't do all "barbie and the island princess" games, just got some games off the internet. Well, one of the games was to wrap up in toilet paper and have races. That was fun for 5 minutes. BUT, what was really fun was the game that got started of burying people in the toilet paper. Everyone took a turn getting buried.......

.... and then they played Mr. Fox to wake up the sleeping fox buried in toilet paper. Who knew that would be so fun? Not one of the games I found on the internet to bury children in toilet paper.

Eva and Crysta, who go to Sheila's together.

The other really fun game that got created at the birthday party was to sit on the ledge around our basement and pretend that they were dolls. Here are all the dolls that were at her party.
